Images dont show in edit mode?

When I open a presentation the image icons (in the left outline column)
display properly, but all images in the right, main edit window do not
appear. The graphic box will show as an outline only and I'm able to have
access to all image bar functions. The text and color also display as they
should. The images show when the presentation runs.

I've tried uninstall/reinstall, different types of graphics (.gif,.bmp.jpg),
vid card performance settings, checking for viruses, disabling virus scan
and clean (safe) boot. Any other suggestions welcome. In groups.google.com I
found another instance of this but no solution was ever posted.

Try updating your video card driver. That is the most likely solution.
