Ok, I am using FrontPage 2002. When i go to publish, i can't publish my
images folder and here is why. On the right side of the Publish window is my
web. Where i have my images folder there is shows up as a "web" folder and
the original folder on my computer (left side) is a normal folder. So i can't
publish the images folder. Even if i rename that folder on my web it turns to
a normal folder , but if i rename it to a images folder it automatically
becomes a "web" folder so i simply can not delete the folder and then
republish it. My site (on the web live) currently has most of the images gone
since i tried before to fix it.

Have you tried;

Open FP
File | Open Web (open the local web)
Now, if your image folder is really not within the web, just:
File | Import and browse to the entire folder contents and Import it into
your Images folder - the one inside of FP web.

Then Tools | Recalcualte Hyperlinks, then
File | Publish Web to your remote server.
