Hi,
We are now storing images of our users in Active Directory and use a custom
tool to browse and update those images along with other attributes. Our
Exchange Global Address Book (GAB) is then updated from this information.
Unfortunately, I am under the impression that there is currently no way to
view these images from Outlook. So here's my feature request for Outlook 12:
(Although, I'm not sure if this might be an Exchange thing)
In the GAB, when you view the properties of a contact, I would like to be
able to display an image from AD (if present in Active Directory). Also, when
a user chooses to add that contact to his or her Contacts, bring the image
over along with the other properties (name, phone number, etc...).
The attribute already exists in AD, it's just a matter of hooking it up to
Outlook/Exchange to make it work.
