Images in a Mail Merge

Does anyone know haw to merge various picture or images
into a mail merge document? My specific situation
requires different scanned signatures depending on
specific criteria in an Excel document. I would like to
have the image's location path in a field that would allow
the Mail Merge document to find and insert the image.
