Images inserted in word 2003

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

I have a number of documents created on word 2003 whose images don't show up in word 2008. Or some do and some don't. The images are normally inserted from visio or enterprise architect on the pc.

If I open the document with quick look or pages the images are there. It's only word 2008 where it doesn't show up. Yet MS support refuse to recognise this as a bug. How does one get these people to understand that this needs to be fixed?

I think you may have been talking to the wrong people :)

That's a confirmed bug in Word 2008 :)

Have you applied Service Pack 1?

Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac 12.0.1 Update
<http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.mspx>

The list of fixes is here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/948057

It won't fix all of it, but it does fix one of these issues.

Hope this helps
