Images not displaying in office

I have Office 2003 SB Edition. It seems to be having a problem displaying
images in Word, Powerpoint and Publisher. The images more often than not
dissappear. The program still recognises there is something there but does
not actually display the image. If I print the document out it is all fine.
Do you know what could be causing this? Is it a case for uninstall and
reinstall? Also if I have another window open and drag that over the top of
the images they reappear??

It is your video driver.
Do this:
Slide the acceleration down on your adapter, control panel, display folder,
settings tab, advanced button, troubleshoot tab. If your images re-appear when
the acceleration is turned down a couple of notches then visit the
manufacturer's web site of your graphics card and look around for an updated
driver.

In addition to changing hardware acceleration as Mary described, also make
sure you've applied at least SP-1 for Office 2003. It resolves most of these
"missing images" issues in PowerPoint 2003, at least.
