Images not displaying

I am helping a fellow co-worker with a little problem she is having with her
powerpoint slides. She is having a repeated problem with viewing imbedded
images in her powerpoint slides. To fix the problem she has been recreating
her profile on her computer. She will be able to view her images again after
she recreates the profile but a few weeks later the images come up Xed out
again. She thinks that the problem starts because of a langauge install that
pops up while she is in Outlook. She always cancels the language installer
so I don't know if that is even relevant. Any suggestions to fix this
problem is greatly appreciated.
