Images not forwarding in Outlook 2002

I am using Outlook 2002 SP3 with Windows XP SP3 and have done so for years
without any problems.

Yesterday, I tried to forward an email containing images and the images
would not display in the forward message, only empty boxes in their place -
not even a little red cross, just the empty box.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook but still have the same problem.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Problem solved: Picture Placeholders needs to be unchecked.
