IMAP connection on upgrade to Outlook 2003

After upgrading to Outlook 2003, the imap setttings
previously used successfully on Outlook 2002 do not work.
At login attempt, "1 of 4 Tasks have been completed
successfully" is shown. 3 error messages are
displayed. "Task 'Checking for new mail in subscribed
folders on imap.washcoll.edu.' reported error
(0x800CCC0E): 'Outlook unable to download folder (null)
from the IMAP e-mail
server...." "Task '(e-mail address removed): Folder:Sent Check
for new mail.' reported error (0x800CCC0E): 'Outlook is
unable to download folder Sent
from...." "Task '(e-mail address removed): Folder:Inbox Check
for new mail.' reported error (0x800CCC17): 'Outlook is
unable to download folder Inbox from...."
