IMAP error 17492 on new account

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: imap

Just installed Student edition and set up an Entourage connection to an IMAP server, it immediately returns error -17492. I can access the server using identical credentials using Apple Mail (obviously not at the same time). Would appreciate some help, Google finds nothing for that error...

It's probably some authentication error for SMTP that needs adjusting.
