IMAP folder synchronization settings problem

Hello
I am running latest version of Mac osx and of Office 2004, all service packs
etc applied.
I have a problem with Entourage in that my IMAP folders will not stay
cached.
I have setup the Tools, Run Schedule, to have a repeating schedule of
updating IMAP by checking all the folders in my IMAP server and Download
Message.
Every time I quit Entourage, the checked boxes for each folder and the
setting to download message disappears.
Please help with any suggestions.
