IMAP Folders and Junk E-Mail

Greetings all,

I have a situation where I have to access several IMAP accounts from Outlook
2003. These are accounts are on other people's servers and are just to be
used by me to help out when the other people are out of town.

The problem is, that as soon as I attach to them (the IMAP accounts) with
Outlook, Outlook
creates a new folder called "Junk E-Mail" and proceeds to parse through
their inbox as it determines what is SPAM and what isn't. While this is fine
for my OWN Outlook folders, people are not happy when they see a new folder
in their email account that they neither created nor wanted. They are even
more irate when
bunches of stuff are moved from their Inbox to this Junk folder. I've tried
just dragging it back to their Inbox, but when I do, Outlook just
periodically goes out and moves it all again!

Is there any way to:

a) disable the creation of the "Junk E-Mail" folder either on a per account
or type of account (IMAP) basis?

b) turn off filtering for junk mail on a per account or type of account
basis?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me in this area.

You could always create another mail profile that references the IMAP
accounts and disable the junk mail filter in that profile.
