I have a strange problem with IMAP and Outlook 2003 SP3:
After some time working fine, no new mails are displayed in some IMAP
subfolders. For example: I am moving a mail to subfolder Inquiries and this
mail gets not displayed by Outlook 2003. If I check with Outlook Express the
moved mail gets displayed. If I activate outlook protocol, the correct number
of messages is also shown in the protocol. I can move more mails in the
subfolder, but they won't get displayed. Moving of mails work, but they get
not displayed by Outlook 2003. There is also no error message displayed.
If I unsubscribe the folder and resubscribe the folder, all messages get
displayed again. But after some days the problem occurs again. It is very
annoying for my customer to check everytime whether the moved mails disappear
and do the resubscribing again. Also after resubscribing there are all the
settings for the folder lost.
It seems as if the view of the folder freezes somehow.
Can someone give me a hint what to do? Is there a way to refresh the view?
