Since I've found so many 1 posters while searching for a fix I figured
I would use an 'intelligent' subject for this query. Then hopefully
someone will post the answer and low and behold it will be 'found'!
Problem Description:
Outlook returns a slightly ambiguous error message when connected to
our IMAP server. I am currently assuming that this is a standard
function of IMAP and perhaps the error message is just too vague. Not
really a surprise with an MS product. How many years did it take until
a third-party gave us the event id lookup site? hmmm... vague... damn
near cryptic...
Anywho... does anyone know how to turn off this "status check" in
outlook versions? I ask specifically for outlook as this is the only
client which has brain dammage. The other 2 clients we use throughout
the enterprise function just fine. I am sure this is an easy fix that
I can perform with a few clicks... however things are not always in
the most logical or useful location in Outlook.
Thanks in advance!
