Imbed videos and pictures

i am building a PP presentation at home that i have to bring to work.
however the video and picture files are stored on my computer. i want to
burn the final presentation onto a CD. will the presentation still be able
to find the media, or is there a way to "imbed" the media files directly
into the presentation. PP Novice. TIA.

Graphic images (photos, clipart, etc.) will be embedded into presentation
unless you specify them to link from external file. Movies cannot be
embedded, but you can increase the chances of the video playing as expected
by first having it in the same folder as the presentation, then import it.
When distributing send all in one folder.
