I installed the IME 2002 in Windows XP and I have the appropriate language
bar visible. In Office 2003 I also included the Japanese language. When I
type in text the conversion takes place for either katakana or hiragana, but
what happened to the Kanji conversion? Do I need the Japanese Multilingual
User Interface pack for kanji to appear? I'm doing this for a client and the
last setup using Windows 98 and the the Language Pack 5.5 was extremely
simple and the person could even convert to Kanji even in Outlook Express. I
examined the MS Knowledge Base and checked out the Office 2003 site and
haven't found an answer. I don't want to change the menus or dialog boxes.
