hello!
I was wondering if anyone can help with this. I want to
use 3 different kinds of asian IMEs, japanese, chinese-
traditional, and chinese-simplified. however. the IME pad
seems to be pretty wacky when these 3 are used in
combination. here are some symptoms I observed. this might
not be exhausive, probably will have some other errors
that i did not see, I use winXP and Office XP with the
IMEs downloaded from microsoft, for officeXP.
if I have japanese and ch-trad installed,
1. when the IME pad is activated in word, the strokes,
radical and character list for (CH) is activated. and the
Handwriting (JA) is also on the menu. these options appear
for BOTH japanese or ch-trad. and the (JA) options for the
strokes, radicals and such would appear if i'm outside of
word.
sometimes vice versa happens. I have no idea how this
happens.
2. Sometimes it would get stuck in one mode (CH) or (JA),
and refuse to change.
these errors occur all the time, and changes even when you
restart the comp.
Similar problems occur with chinese-simplified IME
installed.
I have no idea how to solve this. please help!
