Okay bit the bullet and bought impatica for powerpoint.

I still have this nagging problem I can figure out and neither can the folks at
imapatica.

The tech support has been geat cllaing me from canada at first, then we've decided
to email to save them bucks.

here the deal.

I can create a Impatica movie from a ppt file and if I uloaded it it works in any
browser I have.

Mozilla
Firefox
IE
Opera 7.5x
icab
even aol's browser.

however in Mozilla and Firefox I can't preview on the hard drive (local files)
without a Java exception error something to do with javaclass and a 300 all in the
same error code.

They sent me a bubbles file from sun to see if it was in the browser or in impatica.

It works on everything.
Mozilla
Firefox
IE
Opera 7.5.x
iCAB
even AOL's browser.

have any of you using impatica had this problem. ITs great program and I have enough
browsers to check by to see if my movie is correct.

But Mozilla or FireFox are my Browsers of choice becase they oere W3C standards
compatible. and the others are not.

Hi Phillip,

I'm almost to the point of saying you need a special browser to satisfy
the wants and needs of each particular web page.

I've found that Impatica and Opera are a good pair. My main squeeze is
OmniWeb. Where can we get the "bubbles" file so we can try this out
along with you?

Done I sent the zip file that impatica sent me of the bubles script.
I've also included what I created using imaptica. Its a show movie or show of just
ten frames and I belive all the items are less than 300k combined (including the jar
file.

Hi Phillip,

Thank you for attempting to send the file to me.

You should be able to figure out my real email address if you think of
"hot" as being "warmer than warm" in my address.

FYI

Phillip did send the requested file along with some examples. Strangely,
I was able to run Impatica without having the "bubbles" file at all.

The bubbles file was sent to me from them to test whether it was a Sun Java problem.
Or whether it was an impatica problem.

if I run the html file generated by impatica, to preview I receive a JavaClass error
that references the Impata applet, on Mozilla and FireFox.

On the other hand: Opera, iCab, and Safari run it fine. The bubbles html file worked
fine on everything.

Safari gave the same error until I copied all the Java Plugin items from one Libary
Internet Plugins Folder to another. Then it worked.
