import 6 address book folders

I am attempting to move my deskpc (W2K OL2003) pst file to my laptop (XP
OL2003). I have tried copying pst to correct laptop folder and opening it. I
restarted and tried importing it. Both time I only get the root Contact
address folder in Address book file list, but all there are 7 additional sub
address folders and they show in the My OL Contacts and Folder List. In my
deskpc these folders appear for selection with root contacts, accounts,
business contacts filesto select in the address book.

I know I have pushed the limit to get this far but everything else seems to
work as expected at the moment. Along the way I recieved the msg
sbcmsync.dll could not be found (its not on my laptop, I checked) and an
error OL could not proceed - perhaps because I was trying to backup and
deleting pst files. I can go back and uninstall/reinstall OL, but before I
do that I would like to know if there are any cautions or limitations in
exporting or transfering a pst file with multiple address folders. I have
read most of the online instructions on how to do this.

My goal is to transfer my pst file to my laptop when I travel and back to my
deskpc when I return. Right now I am hung up on getting the laptop setup
with a duplicate pst file. Thanks, Kip

your folders are there. You just need to enable the additional Contacts
folders as address books.
right-click on the Contacts folder, select Properties, select Outlook
Address Book tab, choose "show this folder as an email Address Book.

To control addressing open the address book and look under Tools | Options.
