Before importing your Project 2000 project file, you should confirm that the
names in the Resource Sheet view of the project exactly match the names used
in your Enterprise Resource Pool. If the names do not exactly match, edit
the names in the project. You should also verify that custom task fields
and outline codes in the project have a corresponding custom enterprise task
field or outline code in the Enterprise Global.
Once you have done so, you can import the project by clicking Tools -
Enterprise Options - Import Project to Enterprise. Carefully complete each
page of the Import Wizard, paying special attention to the Resources page.
DO NOT simply open the Project 2000 file and click File - Save As. You need
to use the Import Project Wizard to make sure the project conforms to your
enterprise project standards. Hope this helps.
