Import Act file not on computer?

How do I import an Act database file if the file is not on the same computer?

When I select import Act, Business Manager says Act is not installed on my
computer... I do have Act 2005 on this computer, so not sure what the issue
is...

If BM can't import current file format of Act 2005, fine... I can save file
out in older format, but right now, BM won't go past the import file comment
"Act not installed"

Thanks for any guidence/suggestions.
