Import addresses.WAB into Outlook 2007

I have upgraded from Outlook Express 6 to Office Outlook 2007.
Importing my mails and the files structure went fine.
Now I am trying to import my mail addresses, but no luck so far.
My address book is organized with folders for different types of contacts /
projects etc. I have tried all the tricks described. I am only able to import
12 addresses, which are not yet put into one of my folders. I have an address
book named addresses.WAB size 389 KB with may be 50 folders. How do I import
that to Outlook 2007.
Thanks in advance

Have you tried exporting from OE instead of importing from Outlook? Either
way, you won't be able to retain your address book groups from OE...they will
all be in the same folder in Outlook at first, but of course you can assign
them to different categories or make subfolders in Outlook later.

I have tried to export from OE and import to Outlook 2007. I have been able
to import only those addresses located outside my folders. I feared that I
had to “streamline†all my addresses and then by hand one at the time put
them back in new folders created in Outlook 2007.
But I don’t remember how to export all addresses in one stream?

I believe Outlook does not recognise the wab folders, and as such will only
import the root addresses.
And as such you would need to move all your wab addresses to the root
folder.
Outlook uses Categories for its Contacts, you dont generally set up multiple
Contact Folders
