Import and view external data - sample code?

Does anybody have samplecode for importing data into Access using VBA. The
external database is Oracle. Is the code different for Access 97 and for
higher versions?

Help has extensive information and samples.
Look up TransferText.
It is possible to attach Oracle tables so there may be no need to copy them
but if you do it would be with an append query.

Access 97 was a long time ago and yes the code is moderately different.
