Import Business contact manager contacts or restore MSBCM

I am trying to import a business contacts file (Export.bcm) onto my laptop
but get the message "wrong version".
I get the same problem if I try to restore a MSBCM from a back up file, I
get the message ver 2.0.3606.0 should be 1.0.2002.1. I do not have access to
my old source computer, can I get around this - any assisatnce really
appreciated!

Can you tell me the exact error message,Also is the version of BCM when you
go to help > About BCM

It sounds like you may be trying to import a file that's more recent
than your version of BCM, 1.0. If that's the case, update your BCM to
version 2.0 (AKA Outlook w/ BCM Update).

In general, BCM will import files created with earlier versions of BCM.
