R
Rubble
I am trying to import approx 100 calendar entries into Outlook 2007 via
Excel 2003 file or csv file. The program acts like I am successful in
importing the entries; however, no new entries show up when I look at my
calendar.
I realize it is a general question, but I guess first I am making sure that
Outlook 2007 can have Calendar entries import via Excel or csv and second
looking to see if there is something specific I am doing wrong. The steps I
take are as follows:
First, exported current calendar to excel just to see how they map the
fields (and to create a template.
Second, dumped the data I need to import into the template I created in step
1.
Third, went to File | Import and Export | Outlook . . . | Import from
another program or file | Identified file type as Excel 97-2003 or windows
csv (whatever I am trying this time | Browsed to specific file (Replace
duplicate option selected) | Import to calendar in Personal Folder | Verified
Mapping | Then OK
It acts like it imported the data, but it doesn't appear that the
appointments were imported.
Any ideas??
