import calendar info from Excel & send meeeting request

Hi,
If anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate
it.

I can import appts. from Excel to my calendar but I was
also hoping to send meeting requests in the same import
step. I see fields for "required attendees" and I map
that to a user name and I map my name to "meeting
organizer" and I add a location which comes out in the
subject. I can't get the program to automatically send
the meeting requests. Any ideas?
