IMPORT command not showing up under File menu

Yikes! I have re-installed Outlook 2003 twice, and also run a detect and
repair. I have a whole list of contacts from my former office I need to
import. The words "Import" and "Export" don't appear ANYWHERE under ANY menu.

Probably to protect you from making another mistake. You never use Import to
transfer Outlook data unless the data is in non-Outlook format. Is it? If
so, then make sure you have installed Outlook's importers and exporters from
the Office CD and then reset your Outlook menus.

If the contacts are in a PST file then do NOT use the import function
anyway. Do File-Open-Outlook Data File...
