Happy New Year! I (finally) got a new computer with Outlook 2007. I am
reading these posts from years ago hoping by now that the "New Letter to
Contact" icon has somehow reappeared in the latest versions of Outlook
2007.
Ive been searching but no luck finding it.
That's because it's not there.
In Office 2007 it works the other way.
Open a Word Document, click on the drop-down arrow to the right of the QAT
(Quick Access Toolbar) and choose Customise. Add the Addressbook icon to the
QAT.
Then when you want to insert an address from your Outlook Contacts into a
Word document, just place the cursor at the insertion point, click on the
Addressbook icon and choose your contact.
If you want to do a Mail merge with multiple contacts, then you still
initiate that from Outlook.
