Import - Corrupting Predecessors in Project 2007

Hello,

I am moving from Project 2003 to 2007. I've used the organizer to mov
the Maps to a new Global.mpt. The Map definitions appear to mov
cleanly. However, when I attempt to import from the pre-existing Exce
file that is successfully imported using Project 2003, all of th
predecessors for all of the tasks in the plan are removed.

I have re-tested with 2003 using the exact same files without an
issue. I have reviewed the Map definition in detail between th
Global.mpt used with 2003 and 2007. No clue for the existing dat
corruption.

Here is the sequence

1. Import Wizard- Import Mode

Merge the data into the active project - checked

2. Map options

Tasks, Import includes headers - checked

3. Task Mapping

Source Worksheet Name: 70 sheets in the Excel file

Merge Key: Task Unique ID (same for all worksheets)

The mapped data differs by worksheet but has been verified to b
identical between 2003 and 2007 Global.mpt

When executed, all predecessors are zeroed out, removed.

Any insight into differences between Project 2003 and 2007 in th
Import / Map functionality would be very helpful.

Thanks
