Import Custom Symbols

Hello: I need to import custom symbols from a word doc. Can this be done and
how. Thanks for any help.

What type of symbols do you mean, Tom? If they are just images then
they can be copied and pasted into Visio, even into a stencil.

Paul: Thank you. They are electrical symbols with a very short definition. I
would like to pull them in the area for shapes and symbols for ease of use.

Might be easiest to make a stencil.
menu File -> Shapes -> New Stencil
copy your image and paste into the stencil.
repeat for all images.
save and name as required.
Put stencil where Visio can easily find it.
