Can i import data from one table to another within the same Access database?

Can i import data from one table to another within the same Access database?
What do you mean by "import"? Do you need to transform the data in any way,
or is it a straight copy? You can "Save As" a table in the same database,
with or without data, and you can export a table to another table in the same
database as well. Or do you need to do this in VBA code?

Not using the Import process, no.
Make a backup of your database and try it.
The import process will prompt you for a database then for a table within
that database. Once you select the table, the import process kicks off
without prompting you further. It will simply create a copy of your table.

What's wrong with using an append query to do what you want to do?
