import data into VISIO PERT chart

I am trying to import data into Visio to create a PERT chart. I keep getting
errors that tell me it cannot be done.
I tried opening the Import Project Data Wizard and checking "Excel" when it
asked me to choose the type of file I will enter data into, but then I get
the Column mapping box. If I choose "Next", I get the error: "You do not have
the required mapped columns top continue. You need at least the following
columns: Task Name, Start Date, and Finish Date (or Duration). So I change
the columns and the next screen says, "Select drawing type to create, Gantt
Chart drawing or Timeline drawing." What happened to my request for a Visio
Pert chart? Can you please help?
