Import dbase file into Access

With Access 97 I was able to import a dbase file into
Access. However, I've upgraded to Access 2000 and receive
the error "external table is not in the expected format"
when I try to open the same dbase file. I've downloaded
the latest update to Jet 4.0 but am still receiving the
error.

Any suggestions?
