Import emails archived in one note back into Outlook?

S

Simon

Both at work and home I'm faced with finding better ways of archiving emails.
At work there are 40-50,000 for example!

I noticed at home that I could archive them in One Note (a program I've
never used til now), and pass them across. The layout of the emails archived
like this in One Note is ideal for work, so that's how we're going to do it,
but back at home - can I import them back into outlook in this format? And if
so, how? Email me here or at (e-mail address removed)

Many thanks,

Simon

OneNote isn't intended for that type of file storage. I would archive your
old emails to a PST file, which is a native file format in Outlook. You
can then easily move emails back and forth among PST files and whatever
other storage you're using (Exchange or IMAP folder, etc.)

*How* would you use ON for that?
With such masses mails a database solution and/or Outlook archives might
be a better way.

How do you want to "archive" mails in there?
I'm asking because there are 2 ways:
a) printing into ON,
b) embedding a copy of the mail.

If method a) is used, no import possible.
If embedding a copy of the mail, this could be copied the HDD and then
imported in Outlook.

Sorry, this is newsgroup.
This system is based on replies posted in here and no e-mail.
You may, however, set up a notification either in the MS web-interface
or in Google.
