Import errors

Buzz

I have an issue when opening a published project, while
connected to the server. As the project opens, I get an
error message, along the lines of:
"Check row 11 column RES_PEAK"
"For work type resources (such as people or machinery),
type a positive number between 0 and 60,000,000 with up to
two decimal places"

It goes on to explain material types, with fuel or cement
as examples, and then says "Fora variable material
resource assignment, type the units value as s"

I have no clue what this means. Any help would be
appriciated.

Also when I publish, I get a spooler error:
"SYSTEM ERROR (0x800004005)"

Any help on that? Is it related?

Thanks,
Buzz

Buzz,

The error you are seeing is a result of a negative number in the peak
column for a particular resource. To see this you need to go to the
resource usage view and insert the column Peak. There should be a
negative number at the resource level. This is the cause of the
error. I have changed the units for the task with the highest peak
down to zero. This will zero out the remaining work for that task, if
this is the task with the problem the peak at the resource level
should become a positive number. When you add the remaining work back
in it should not cause the peak to go back to a negative number. I am
not certain of the possible negative impacts of performing this
solution, so try it at your own risk. Hope that helps.
