Import/Export Functions Inactive

I am running Outlook 2000 and since I ran "detect and repair" from the Help
menu, the Import/Export functions in the file menu have become inactive. I
am using Windows XP but have not installed SP 2 yet. Any suggestions of how
I can reactivate these functions?

I'd try a reinstall instead of a Repair.

Do I need to uninstall Office and then reinstall or just reinstall without

Try reinstalling with Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs. Find Outlook (or
Office) and click Change. If they show up there as installed, remove them
and reinstall.
