Import Export --pc checking (A:) drive

I recently exported my work Outlook calendar to floppy
and then imported to my home pc...both are running
Windows XP. Now, my home pc checks the (A:) drive
(floppy) when I click "Send and Receive." I also must
manually send/receive although my settings are for
Outlook to automatically send/receive. Any suggestions?
