hi;
i am admin of pwa 2007.my resources recently use msp server for defining
their timesheets.before,we did this by excel.now i need to use our previous
timesheets(excel format) to update our project.so i wanna know how we can
import previous timesheets to msp server.and also i want a 3rd party do this
for me with special permission(i mean a 3rd party import my resources
timesheets with excel format to msp server preferly not from pwa).but if
there is no way,plz tell me how she can do this by pwa??

There isn't a way I'm afraid. Firstly the detail level of Excel timesheets
is critical. If there is no clear match up of tasks in the Excel timesheets
to current tasks, then the job can't be done at all. If you have unique ID's
for each task then a VBA macro can read the data and update tasks in project
professional, but this won't get timesheets into Project Server.

I you absolutely need the timesheets in project server you will need to
write a C# program using PSI to create and update timesheets, but again this
won't work if the tasks in Excel do not match the tasks currently in your
projects.

I think VBA import in Project is your best bet.
