Import files > 1M

When I import a file to a web > 1M, I get the following
error message "An error occurred accessing your FrontPage
web files. Authors - if authoring against a web server,
please contact the webmaster for this server's site.
WebMasters - please see the server's system log for more
details."

I have FrontPage 2000 on my desktop computer running
Windows ME and I do not have this problem. I also have
FrontPage 2000 on my laptop computer running Windows XP
Home and I get this every time I import a file larger than
1M. Anything under 1M is imported just fine.

Thank you.

If you are running the FP2000 SE try in your registry finding the key:

HKey_Local_Machine, Software, Microsoft, Shared Tools, Web Server Extensions, All Ports.

Add the following string value:
vti_maxformcontentlength
then assign the value you want in bytes.

PS
for media file of that size it is often best to just use a 3rd party FTP transfer program
