Import fixed width file

I have created a schema.ini and saved it in the same
folder as the text file. I am having problems creating a
macro to transfer the text. In the "Specification name",
when I enter "schema.ini", it gives me the following
error - "The text you entered isn't an item on the list".

What should I be doing?

I would be interested to know where you got this idea about a schema.ini
file.

Run through the import of your data "manually", via the File|Get
External Data menu. When you get to the last screen of the import
wizard, click the 'Advanced' button, and then use this dialog to name
and save your Import Specification.
