I had to delete the User account in Entourage 2008 Mail and also deleted my address book. I do have a copy of the Entourage Database and the Mail database; however neither of these will import into Entourage after setting up a new user account.

Is it possible to convert the databases to files that will be recognized for import? If so would someone please tell me the procedure.

I look forward to hearing the reply.

Are you saying you just kept the database file? You need to keep the entire
Identity folder. Your contacts in Entourage are stored in the database file.

Same version Identities do not import. You can just move the Identity back
to the Office 2008 Identities folder. Just rename it so it does not
overwrite a workable Identity. You will have to manually move your data out,
but, you need to be able to open the Identity to do this.

How to manually move your data:
