Import from excel + changing standard form

Hi. I hope that someone can help me..

Im trying to import a register file from excel to outlook.
When doing that, i want the form in contacts to include "customer-id".
I have tried to create a new form, and thats no problem. (a form that i
design myself). If i click "new" in contacts, my own form is used, so i know
i have done it right so far. BUT! When importing the excel-file, and when i
try to put the information in the right fields, i cant find my form details.
I can only import to the standard form of contacts...
so! How do i solve this? I have tried to change the standard form, but i
dont know how to do it.

Outlook does not directly support importing to a custom form, nor importing custom fields. You would need to write your own import code or use a third-party tool. See http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=23

Ok, i see. But still - can i change the original form? There are a lot of
different fields to add, for example "customer id".. Can i put this into the
original form?
(not create an own, just change the original, standard form?)
