Import from Excel

I have MS Project Standard 2007 and am trying to import from an Excel 2007
file. When I do the file open and select Excel workbook, it does not find my
file. When I select ALL it can find the file but, when I select it, I get
Project cannot recognize this file format.

Any ideas?

Save Excel as an XLS and not XLSX file?

You also might try going into Tools > Options > Security, and set it to "allow
loading files with legacy or non-default file formats."
