Import from excel

I am using import maps to get data from excel to MSP but it keps stopping
halfway. Is there a limit to the amount of data you can import in one go?
If I reduce the amount of data it comes in OK.

You might have a problem in the data you are importing. Try starting the
import at the row in your spreadsheet where it stops. (do this by making a
copy of the spreadsheet and deleting the earlier rows). If that works, then
you may have reached a limit of some kind (though I'm not aware of one). If
it doesn't then the problem is with your data.

I managed to get it down to the problem row and it was a date that was
causing the error. Looks like it was Excel after all!

That has usually been my experience as well. Too bad the messages it gives
when it fails (if it gives a message at all) are so hard to understand.
