Import from OE6 to Outlook 2003...

I have decided to use outlook 2003 instead of OE6, upon installing OL2K3, it
offered to import all my OE6 stuff, which I allowed it to do.

However, about half of the emails imported had the date of when I performed
the import (July 31st). If I look at the mails, they have the correct send
date in the headers. For some reason, some of my emails DO have the correct
dates.

Why does it do this? Is there any way to get the correct dates back. It's
really not a MAJOR deal, but I would like the mail to show the correct
receive date? It appears all the sent items are OK, but I have over 900
emails, going back to the beginning of the year.

On another topic, is there any utility that will let me eliminate duplicate
mails? I had gone back and forth between OE6 and Outlook 2000/2003 a few
times, and I have quite a bit of duplicate messages. Deleting them manually
is a pain in the neck.

That's the way the import wizard was designed.

Your messages should still be in Outlook Express, but make sure. If so,
delete them from Outlook and and use OE to export them to OL. The dates are
properly retained that way.
