Import from Outlook 97 on different computer

My laptop has Outlook 97 and all of my contacts and
calendar. I have a new desktop computer with Windows XP
and Outlook 92. How do I import the data from the laptop
to my new computer?

What's Outlook 92? :)

I have had probelems using my old .pst files ever since I
set up my
first new user in XP with admin rights. At first I set
up my new machine as the default administrator and had
all my files from my old machine such as .pst etc working
fine with the folders and sub folders in the right place
but as soon as I activated a new user, the default
administrator vanished and with him hours of set up work
and the ability to copy my .pst files. I can see the
files and have tried to import them but the content is
not the same lots of messages and folders are missing.
It is as if the system updated all previous files.

I am so frustrated by this and am hoping someone has the
answer.

Regards

David
