Import if table does not exist

Help please.....

I need to import a table (table1) from db1 to my db2 but only if table1
doesn't exist in my db2. In other words, I don't want access to import the
table if it is already there.

Any ideas how to do this?

You can use the fExistTable function at
http://www.mvps.org/access/tables/tbl0001.htm.

E.g.

Dim strTable As String

strTable = "Table1"

If Not fExistTable(strTable) Then
DoCmd.TransferDatabase acImport, , "db1.mdb", _
acTable, "Table1", "Table1"
End If
