Import Merge and Grouping thereafter of new milestones

We had an import map set up to auto update milestones from some live plans
into a static portfolio level reporting Gantt. Milestones in the static
gantt were listed under summary tasks which acted as the Project Names.
Problem - how to automatically incorporate new milestones directly under the
correct Project name headings.

Solution - we removed the requirement to have summary tasks and just grouped
milestones by the imported project code & name. However - when grouping it
displays the name of the field being grouped. eg instead of "ABCD - Project
X " being displayed as the grouping name it displays eg "Text30 - ABCD -
Project X ".
Is it possible to mask out the field name of the grouping field eg "Text30"?
