import multiple excel files **code stupid**

ok well i have like 300 excel files that need to be imported into 1 access
database but im code stupid and all i can find on the multiple stuff is all
code???? help please

How are these spreadsheets formatted? Are they all the same? Different?

Do they contain related information?

How do you picture the database working? One table? One table for each
sheet?

Is this for storage purposes or to manipulate/calculate amongst the data in
other sheets?

The more information you can provide, the easier it will be for someone to
help you.

Hi Stressed -

I agree with Sharkbyte - and once you've done the thinking the easiest way
is to:

Go to the form you're wanting to have populated; and perform an export [ie -
file, export data - to excel on the desktop]

This will then give you the 'template' for which to align all your other 300
spreadsheets.

Once you've done that, simply use the File, Get external data commands to
import the clean data.
