I have built a colleague at work a simple Access database that allows him to see whether we have information about clients in the office or in our safe custody building.
Originally, all the clients were exported from a system we use in the office to .dbf format. It was then imported into a new Access table. This all worked fine, but now, we have new clients and I need to import the clients to the existing Access table. There are other tables linked to this and what I would like to know is, Is there a way to import the data inot the existing tabnle without messing up any of the information currently in there
The only way I can create the .dbf file is to run a report showing "All Clients" including those previously imported into Access, and then use this .dbf as the import. I can't just select new clients to import
Can this be done
Thanks in advance to anyone who looks at this problem, even if they can't resolve it
